New Orders & Awards Success
Cube were honored to be recognised and highly commended in the 2016 Business Insider's Made in Midlands awards. Against a very talented shortlist Cube received special mention from the judges.
Commenting on the evening Joint MD Neil Clifton spoke of his pride:
"We were delighted to get be highly commended by the judges in such a competitive category. This recognition is a reward for our staff who work hard to deliver the exacting requirements of our customers. As owners we have invested significantly in capital equipment and new premises in the last 3 years but without our staff’s commitment to quality and attention to detail, it would be very difficult to convince our customers to place repeat work, we are only ever as good as our last job"
The success comes in the middle of an exciting week for the business who have also secured several new packages of work. In this week alone The Company have won packages of work for automotive, aerospace, defence, rail and yellow goods sectors. Neil continued:
"In our 7 years in business, the range of the sectors we service has never been highlighted as much as the orders we have received this week. The rail work is a pure machining contract it is a repeat order of the job very first job we won as a business and is still referred to as Job 1. The aerospace and defence work is the start of two long term agreements for component parts which will not only benefit our other group companies but our excellent local supply chain too. New tooling projects for the yellow goods sector is something we are very excited about - the key to winning the work was our capacity to press 1,000T while the automotive work is a package of significant engineering changes for model year 18 vehicles for an OEM."
